A self-proclaimed mountain woman, Andi is a recent college graduate who traded the sandy beaches of Southern California for the rugged peaks of Northern Colorado. “You can take the girl out of the mountains, but you can’t take the mountains out of the girl,” she laughs. So the Colorado native is back!
When Andi is not teaching outdoor education to 5th and 6th graders, she studies emergency medicine, blogs, and brainstorms new adventures. Andi enjoys outdoor recreation (hiking, rock climbing, skiing), music, taking pictures, traveling, and writing.
She has mixed feelings about these next few post-college years. As she is working seasonally, she is still unsure of long-term plans. But Andi hopes the next five years will include a stint in the National Park Service and AmeriCorps, a trip to Thailand, and some time spent working on a friend’s fishing trawler in Alaska. We are glad you’re safely back in CA Andi. There’ll always be a light on here for ya’.
